South-East Ridge

The climb takes the left skyline of the rock tooth

L'Index is a small peak, but it is well formed. It sits above the opposite side of the Chamonix valley to Mont Blanc. Being much lower and without the glaciers of the mountains across the valley it is used as a training climb or when the weather is doubtful.
